"In my current position as an online English language instructor, I maintain consistent contact with clients from all around the world. As such, I am required to have an advanced understanding of messaging applications, video chats, and email to balance my workload and sustain client relationships. I use Skype forty hours a week to conduct lessons. Between lessons, I communicate with my supervisor via email and Skype chat."

"Since the entire marketing team has gone remote, we have had a learning curve in terms of communicating from our home offices. It is different working as a team when you are not together physically. Therefore, it is extremely important to utilize new technology to make communication as clear and fast as possible. My team uses Slack to discuss work on projects and provide updates on our daily tasks. We hold meetings over Zoom and even have WhatsApp groups for people who are working on small groups projects. I feel comfortable learning new technology quickly."
