"In the past few years, I learned the assumptive close, where the salesperson assumes the sale and starts communicating in that mindset. Instead of talking about the car, I ask something like, 'Would you like a beverage while we wrap up the paperwork on your new Toyota?' I was amazed how just the smallest change could plant a seed in the customer's mind."

"I try to reduce the payment to the smallest terms possible. For example, instead of saying 30 dollars a month more, say it as - it will only cost 1 a day more to have this television that you like. I also tend to use the summary close a lot, summarizing the benefits of why the client was considering the purchase. I build value again in the customer's mind to convince them to buy."
