Being able to describe this to the Tesla interviewer demonstrates that you have participated in successful product launches and can do the same for Tesla. You may even want to use an example from one of your previous positions to illustrate your answer.

"I have participated in numerous product launches, and most of them have been very successful. I've learned from these that it all begins with effective research on both the product and the market. A well-designed product that functions properly and meets the customer's needs will move you 80% of the way through a successful launch. Other components include a targeted and comprehensive marketing plan, developing brand awareness and preferences, training the Tesla sales team on the product's features and benefits, and using product demos to initiate interest and demand."
