"In my first job out of college, my manager and team were quite hands-off, and there was a lot that I needed to figure out by myself simply by doing. Pretty much every day, I learned by throwing myself into a project despite not having adequate resources to understand how to approach it. I learned a great deal in these first few years and can credit my expertise in (XYZ topic) to those formative few years of scarce workplace resources."

"My team and I recently worked on a client project where we faced limitations in multiple areas. Most prominently, we didn't have much time to complete it and had limited information on the client's goals for a few reasons outside of our control. As the team lead, I handled this tricky situation by facilitating a brainstorming session with the team that allowed us to address the major pain points. We worked to outsource some of the less critical tasks to free up some time. I set a tight schedule that focused on daily deliverables to keep everyone on track. And finally, once we had successfully completed the project I brought up the major issues with my manager and let him know where we would need support going forward with projects like these so that we wouldn't have to deal with a scarcity of resources in the future."

I was working with a shared Solutions architect. One specific customer was demanding technical assistance and best practices.
I encouraged him to build a cloud center of excellence i.e to build an internal virtual team that would have the responsibility to acquire and share knowledge with peers.
Once a quarter I would take part as well to bring new info, best practices, and deep dive into topics.
Marcie's Feedback
Nice! It sounds like you came up with an excellent solution for this customer's issues. What was the end result? Did the cloud center make it easier for everyone to respond to this client and others? Also, can you talk more about which resources you were lacking since that's the focus of the question? What resources were scarce and how did you make up for this? Show the interviewer that you are resourceful and a creative thinker. Good job!
