Once hired, just as necessary as it is to build relationships and earn their trust, asking questions, and learning not only how to do the job but also to learn why they do things the way they do is integral. Without having that valuable information, it will be impossible to make an impact or to suggest improvements, great or small. It's like writing a report on a subject you know nothing about without performing any research before you begin. That approach won't work. Consider these points when formulating your answer.
