Your interviewer is curious how your skills would uniquely contribute to their teams, and how they are relevant to the role. Consider which of all of your hard and soft skills would best serve the profile they are looking for. From generating reports, creating effective presentations, to coaching and mentoring, reflect on those skills that best showcase your professional worth and make you unique.

When listing your top skills, EY advises candidates to think of what you are good at, what you enjoy doing, and those skills or activities of which you are the "go-to" person. They also suggest you determine whether the job you are contending for would provide you with the opportunity to use those skills to fulfill your purpose. "In order to present your skills in the way you want them to come across, first define them. Make a list of your top 3-5 skills and think about how you have used those skills in the past."
"One of my strongest skills is being able to set pace and motivate the rest of our team. I have been called team captain more times than I can count. This ties in with another of my skills, and that is my ability to coach others. I am something of a go-to person. Everyone is always coming to me asking for something, whether it is an answer to a question, or to show them something new. Also, I would say time management is one of my strongest skills. Right from the beginning, I know whether it can be done in the time allowed. I can plan accordingly, prioritize effectively, and delegate when appropriate, always delivering ahead of the deadline."
