Even if they find a candidate they prefer, they have to consider whether that individual will get along with all the other members of their team. With every decision they make, their credibility as a recruiter and team builder is on the line. So this question is aimed at determining how proactive you'll be in building trusting relationships and integrating yourself into EY's culture while onboarding with the company.
Share your personal approach to relationship-building, collaboration, and how the relationships you've built have helped you as a professional. Showcase your interpersonal skills, and how you earn trust through strong communication, humility, active listening, and taking every opportunity to learn from others. "Without having any true context for who you may be replacing or how openly accepting your new teams will be of you, I go in with humility and the aim of building trust. I start by being humble and transparent. The first step to earning the trust of others is by allowing yourself to first trust in them and their intentions.
