What type of management style brings out the best in you?

"I have worked with a wide range of personalities and management styles with great success. If I could express a preference, I feel that I am best in an independent and autonomous environment. Can you describe the management style here?"

"I do best in a collaborative, team-based atmosphere. It's helpful to me as a team member when my manager clearly defines everyone's role, rewards great performers on the team, and holds people accountable for their actions. While positive reinforcement and feedback are important to me, I've found it to be even more important to seek out feedback that will allow me to grow and address any weaknesses that I have. Working with a manager who gives regular, direct feedback helps me to be the best team member I can be."
