If you were hired today, what would you accomplish first?

While hiring managers understand that you will need some time to get up to speed in your role, you should convey to your interviewer that you're ready to hit the ground running on day one. Cisco has a high-profile reputation to maintain as one of the oldest tech companies in the Silicon Valley and wants to ensure that its employees will help the company continue to grow. With an abundance of qualified candidates seeking to enter the tech industry, hiring managers want employees who will be productive in their roles right away. Give your interviewer a concrete answer that demonstrates that you are well aware of the position description and the key responsibilities it has outlined.
