Give an honest answer that addresses your experience working with a diverse group of people from different backgrounds and perspectives. Demonstrating your ability to be an effective team member in spite of differences among team members is a critical component of leadership and collaboration. If previous work or academic experiences have been among a relatively homogenous group of individuals, be honest about that while emphasizing your openness to working with team members who are different from you.
