What is the first thing you do to start your workday?

After clocking in, I walk the floor, noting the conditions of the workplace, and take my time to greet the crew. This way, no one feels unacknowledged. Not to mention, the last thing I want is several members of my crew bringing things to my attention that I would have otherwise missed. So, with a cup of coffee in hand, I practice sharpening my attention-to-detail and ensure I am three steps ahead. That way, when anyone raises a concern, whether it's a superior or sub-ordinant, I can reply with, I'm already on it.
