Our call center had a few cubicles set up in a corner of our warehouse. Over the years, they'd requested improved work conditions, but it didn't fit within our budget. I'd noted their low morale was compressing the quality of their customer service. So inspecting our storage systems, I decided the empty our breezeway which we were using to store work supplies. So I recruited a skeleton crew, involving our call center team, to empty the breezeway and move their work stations there. We moved the supplies back to where their old work stations were, and using existing materials we had on hand, we sectioned it off, creating a gangway, giving them more privacy and fewer intrusions from our warehouse pickers and staff.
