"I could understand if you have hesitation with this being my first job, but I hope you will consider giving me a chance to prove myself. I'm reliable and have always had good attendance at school. My teachers would tell you that I'm dedicated, always on time, willing to help others, and eager to learn."

"I understand that I come from one of your competitors so I hope that you can see why it would be a benefit to Aldi, versus a hindrance. I know how to deliver amazing customer service and have been the top cashier for the past six months running, in my current role."

I can't think of a reason not to hire me except that you are not looking for the best candidate.

Cheeky! This is pretty funny and could be effective if the interviewer has some personality :)

I hope it doesn't come to that. I would be a great employee I feel, I am customer-driven and have a proven employment record in retail.

This question is another way of asking what your weaknesses are. The interviewer would like to know where you may fall short when it comes to the experience they are asking for or the skills that you bring. I have offered an example answer, below.
"The only reason I could see not to hire me is that you are seeking 5 years' experience in a retail environment, and I bring three. With that said, I am an exceptional employee; I am customer-driven, and have proven my worth time and time again during my employment history."

I'm not the kind of person to focus on what might go wrong, so this question catches me off guard. If you are looking for a young person, the fact I am middle-aged might count against me. But, I would hope you are more open-minded than that.
