All employees at ALDI are part of the local team, and each plays a role in the team's success. Think of a current or past team you've been a part of and what made that team successful. "When I was in college, I volunteered for a ministry that collected shoeboxes full of gifts for children overseas. My local team had about ten volunteers, and we were responsible for marketing and recruiting people in the community to fill boxes and donate them during the collection season. Our goal was to gather 500 boxes in the community. The ten of us had regular meetings to brainstorm and divide responsibilities, which included a certain number of outreach and speaking to different area groups. We ended up collecting over 1000 shoeboxes! I think we were successful because we had a passion for the work we were doing, we were organized, we created a plan and strategy, and we regularly communicated, so we knew our collective progress and kept each other motivated!"

"Our latest team goal was to be the most profitable store for January, one of the notoriously slow months of the year. We have fifteen stores, across the USA and ours is one of the smaller locations, so we knew we needed to hustle. We closed out the month, #2 in the company which, although we didn't reach #1, was an amazing feat considering we usually sat in the #8 spot. I believe we were able to make this happen because we all have energetic personalities, we encouraged each other, and remained focused."

I installed a home foundation with bad weather coming in, which required my whole team to work together to complete the task safely.

Rachelle's Feedback
Try prefacing your response with a sentence on which role you are referring to. Also, if this was a residential foundation, be sure to mention that. And, discuss a bit about the team that you had in place. I have added a sample, below.
"When working for ABC Company, I was tasked with installing a residential foundation in Long Island. Bad weather was coming in, so I assembled all trades, encouraged them to work overtime, to complete the job before the situation became unsafe. We were able to achieve our goal two days ahead."

One project I was particularly proud of was the development of a new catalog and reworking of the _______ website in 2018. Prior to that, both things were outdated and did not represent the level of quality our products had. I worked closely with our VP in Sweden, as well as our European partners, to present a professional website and catalog to give to my distributors.

Chad's Feedback
This project sounds like it was a large undertaking, and you and the team deserve to be proud of the fact you were able to successfully accomplish the goal. Good job! Next, share some factors that made the team successful to demonstrate your understanding of teamwork.
