TED Talks are known for their slogan, 'ideas worth spreading.' The platform introduces people to thought leaders in education, business, science, tech, and other creative industries. Airbnb's values include the following:
- Caring for others and making them feel like they belong
- Prioritizing work that advances the mission and positively impacts the community
- Being bold and applying original thinking while being resourceful to make the outcome a reality
- Embracing the adventure, being curious, asking for help, and demonstrating an ability to grow
- Owning and learning from mistakes
- Bringing joy and optimism to the workplace
What topic could you choose that would add to these values while reinforcing your beliefs?

"If I could give a TED Talk today, I would talk about the importance of embracing and learning lessons from your flaws. Nobody is perfect, yet, in our society today, we all try to appear to be so. I would speak about the importance of accepting feedback, asking for help, and continually growing yourself as a person and a professional."

"I love TED Talks and have thought about this before! If I could present on any topic, I would discuss how joy and optimism affect our overall attitude and the outcome of our work and personal life. I am a big believer in the law of attraction, so this type of topic would be a primary interest."

Given my background in enterprise security, I would choose to give a TED Talk on 'The Human Aspect of Cybersecurity.' While technology is a crucial component of security, the human element often gets overlooked. This aligns with Airbnb's core value 'Be a Host,' as it emphasizes caring for others in the digital realm by fostering a culture of security.
The talk would explore how individuals can be both the weakest link and the strongest defense in cybersecurity. I'd discuss the importance of security awareness, training, and building a culture that embraces security - reflecting the value of 'Embrace the Adventure,' as it promotes continuous learning and growth.
Moreover, I'd discuss case studies and examples, showing that attention to every detail is vital - 'Every Frame Matters.'
Finally, I'd encourage everyone to take bold actions in their organizations to enhance cybersecurity, embodying the 'Cereal Entrepreneur' spirit. I believe this topic would resonate with many because as we increasingly live our lives online, understanding the human aspect of cybersecurity becomes paramount.
