"All my personal electronics are Apple products, which I use at home and school. I have used PC equipment when working on the equipment at the school or occasionally in the library. I also have some experience using it at some of my summer jobs in the past. My preference is Apple. However, I can be productive with either type of equipment."

But too often, I have experienced issues with that equipment that result in a lot of lost time trying to resolve software issues or bugs which hamper productivity. This can be frustrating when you feel like you are on the right track with your work. These are things I never experience with my Apple products. Another thing I love about this company, that Airbnb primarily operates on Apple equipment, was a motivator in me pursuing this position."

As a security professional, my preference between Apple and PC isn't brand-oriented but instead focused on the specific needs of the tasks at hand. Apple products, known for their robust security, user-friendly interfaces, and excellent device integration, align with the value of 'Every Frame Matters' due to their meticulous design. On the other hand, PCs offer considerable flexibility and broad software compatibility, mirroring the 'Embrace the Adventure' principle through their adaptability. In line with Airbnb's 'Be a Host' value, my choice of equipment would prioritize ensuring the security and efficiency of Airbnb's platform and fostering a supportive environment for both the team and users. Ultimately, my primary goal is to optimize security, regardless of whether Apple, PC, or another platform is in use.
