QUESTION 12 OF 35

Tell me about a project you recently completed ahead of schedule.

This question is self-guided. AECOM's desirable candidates consistently strive to go above and beyond, exceeding expectations. This equates to delivering quality, error-free results ahead of deadlines and a willingness to help the rest of your teams with time to spare. Assure the interviewer you meet these qualifications by walking them through your approach to your work, including but not limited to your time management skills, your project management skills, your attention to detail, your communication skills, and any other methods or skills you employ to put your all in towards achieving the best results.

"In my current position, I am expected to cold call 100 customers weekly. Most of our associates break this down into 20 per day, five days per week. I call 50 customers daily for the first two days and then have time to make additional calls throughout the week. This effort generally equals a 25% surplus of cold calls to my portfolio. I am always ahead of target by going over and above that cold calling schedule."

"In my current position, I was given the task of migrating our payroll system to a new provider. Happily, I completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule, allowing us to start the new service sooner."
