The interviewer is looking for someone who is a quick learner and problem solver. It is desirable to communicate that you are able to think on your feet, consider potential solutions, and act with confidence to solve problems. Provide an example of a time that highlights your ability to think quickly and successfully solved an issue. Be sure to provide enough context so the interviewer is able to understand the scenario and how you came up with a successful solution, but otherwise keep it brief.

"During my internship as an assistant in the Supply Chain Management department of a drug store, I was tasked with seeking out new vendors for office supplies. I gladly accepted the challenge and started doing research with the other interns. I took the lead on the project and developed a checklist of priorities to reference when scouting out new vendors. Ultimately, I made a recommendation for a vendor who allowed us to save money, was extremely communicative, and delivered on their promises. My manager was pleased with the teamwork we displayed and the system I created to narrow down the best choice."
