Some university administrator positions require experience in planning and facilitating various programs or events. These programs serve a wide variety of purposes including research initiatives, socialization, fundraising, sports, marketing, etc. Think about your experience leading or working with teams in charge of these types of programs. Note the amount of time you've worked in this capacity and any special responsibilities you've had as a result. If you haven't led or facilitated this type of program at a university specifically, think about any similar experience you've gained by working in other roles, as a student, or volunteering.

Describe the programs you have experience facilitating in a university setting or setting applicable to the university administrator role. Discuss the type of role you had (leader/contributor) as well as the specific portions you were responsible for. Be sure to offer information that will help your interviewer understand the scale of the programs you have experience with (years served, budget, number of events, number of attendees, etc.)
"While I was not in charge of the programs, I have worked to facilitate a number of social events on behalf of my current university. I mainly work with the vendors we use for food, entertainment, transportation, and materials. Some events are small with less than 25 attendees, but I have also worked on teams responsible for large events such as career fairs that serve thousands of students, staff, and alumni.
For each event, I help to schedule the services we need, serve as the point of contact for those services, and help to process the related purchase orders and invoices. The budgets for my portion of the work vary greatly from hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars."
