"The first phase of organizational development strategy is Entry, which includes the discovery of the problem or opportunity. This phase ends with a delivery of a scope statement and a high-level strategy. The second phase is Diagnosis, which includes detailed analysis and root cause investigation. The third phase is called Feedback and includes discussing and making sense of the results of the diagnosis phase. The feedback phase results in a detailed action plan and a definition of the success indicators for the recommended changes.
The fourth phase is the Solution phase. The training plans, new procedures, communication plans, etcetera are developed during this time, and the plan is put into action. The fifth and final phase is Evaluating the solution and gathering data to determine if the expected results were achieved. A report is often developed to communicate the current status, change recommendations, and strategies for continuous improvement."
