"I currently work on a team focused on diversity and inclusion efforts. We implemented several programs recently and wanted to gather employee feedback. The goals of the evaluation initiative were to determine the effectiveness level of the changes we implemented and identify opportunities for improvement.
We have used several survey tools over the years, but we found that response rates are low. I partnered with our IT team to research new options, and we landed on a tool called Peakon. The dashboard features allowed us to tell in real-time how successful the survey was. Also, it allowed for anonymous employee engagement, an important feature for diversity and inclusion surveys. We wanted employees to feel that they could offer authentic feedback safely.
Overall, I would say the project was a success. The implementation offered the data my team needed, and we improved the survey response rate by 11% on the first survey. I am currently analyzing the results for a presentation to our senior leaders, and then we will work on a company-wide communication plan."
