Focus on highlighting specific reasons you want to work for their company. Suppose you reviewed their website, and their mission and vision statement stood out to you. Or, they may have a reputation as the top-rated construction company in the area. In that case, you want to mention how their mission and vision align with your business principles and that you feel they would be an excellent company to work with based on their stellar reputation.

Avoid being unprepared to answer the question by failing to research the company before your interview. If you give a generic answer such as, 'You seem like a good company to work for,' the interviewer will think you did not research their company in-depth or at all. You should also avoid saying that you want to work for their company for the money or benefits they offer. If the interviewer thinks you are only motivated by monetary reasons, they may not feel you will be a good fit for the team.

I love your vision of green building involving communities and utilizing natural resources.
