There are many fun and successful activities you can mention. "By far, the most successful activity where we had approximately 80% participation was pet therapy. Every week, I would coordinate with a pet therapy agency, and they would have owners bring in their trained animals for the residents to hold, pet, and admire. The animals would vary week-to-week, and we would see bunnies, dogs, cats, parrots, goats, piglets, and even a llama. It became so popular that we started having the activity twice a week."

Probably the most popular activity that we had on our calendar was bingo. There was almost never a day when we didn't have a group of residents wishing to play, and when we added the prizes once a week, even more residents wanted to participate. Bingo was the biggest hit in our building.
Marcie's Feedback
Awesome! Did you play any role in increasing the popularity of bingo at your previous job? Did you come up with the idea of adding prizes? Did you select the prizes? Can you also talk about why the residents enjoyed bingo so much? What was it about the game that created interest? Additional details will make your answer even stronger. Good job!
