The interviewer is trying to assess how balanced a person you are. In this position, you will have times when you need to multitask and times when you will need to focus to complete a task. This is an excellent time to highlight the skills you possess and show the interviewer that you are capable of completing a task when asked. Be positive and enthusiastic about your willingness to use the correct time management technique that the situation may warrant.

"I would say that I am a little of both. I like organization and structure, but I have taught myself to multitask when the situation is needed. I try to make to-do lists in the morning and work hard to get them done. I multitask because I can easily move off that list in order to work on issues more pressing, like selling a car to the customer right in front of me."
