What are Newton's threes laws?

This question tests how readily you can draw upon and communicate your basic industry knowledge. This is one of many such questions SpaceX typically asks in their interviews. Brush up on all of your knowledge before your interview, and be ready to answer any question they throw your way.

"Newtons laws of motion are:
1. An object in motion will stay in motion unless acted on by an outside force (the law of inertia).
2. The change of motion of an object is proportional to the force applied and is made in the direction of the straight line in which the force is applied.
3. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."

"Newton's first law is inertia (if an object is moving, it will continue like that unless another force acts on it). His second law is that the amount of force applied to the object determines the acceleration of the object in accordance with its mass. His third law is that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."
