Tell me about a time when you made a suggestion requesting change in an organization.

Marriott loves to seek new ways of providing services their guests need. This necessitates a culture of change and flexibility. "Last year when I was managing front-of-house, I noticed a pretty solid opportunity for us to coordinate with a local spa to provide our guests with this service. We worked with the owner of the business to provide transportation and discount pricing. In addition, a special advertisement was printed and placed in each welcome packet. I created a presentation and gave it to my manager, who took it to upper management. The changes were implemented, and I was very proud of the suggestion that I made."
