CarMax has stayed competitive during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, offering curbside purchase and delivery. But this service existed before the pandemic, reducing the inconvenience of traveling to a dealership and then getting home. Therefore, this position may require you to drive to someone's home and present their vehicle to them. Reassure the interviewer you'd take every opportunity to go the distance and make every guest comfortable.

"If I had a customer who preferred not to come to the dealership location, I would offer to bring the vehicle to them, so they could see it, drive it, and decide if it was right for them. I like having diversions from time to time and would do whatever I could to help my customers in their purchases."
