Focus on describing what you have found to be a struggle and how you worked through the challenging time. It may be that you were working full-time while going to school, you found it tough remembering the different medications and their indications and adverse effects, or you may have struggled financially. Spend a small amount of time describing the struggle and more time explaining how you dealt with the adversity.

Avoid saying that you have not faced any struggles while pursuing your career as a Pharmacist. If you do not tell the interviewer how you deal with challenging situations or tough times, they will be unable to evaluate your critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

"My biggest struggle while working towards my career as a Pharmacist has been the financial costs of going to pharmacy school. Between tuition, books, and housing, I have very little left for the bare essentials. I have taken out student loans, worked three part-time jobs, and received assistance from my grandparents, but it has still been a struggle. To make it less of a challenge, I visited a financial aid counselor who advised me of grants and scholarships I was not aware of. Since speaking with the counselor, I have received significant economic assistance, which has alleviated a lot of my stress. I am in my last year of school and know if I have made it this far, I will make it to the end!"
