How would you handle an angry customer?

"I have had angry customers in the past, and I find that actively listening to their complaints, reiterating what they are saying, and finding a resolution to their problem works every time. When a customer is angry, it is usually because they feel disrespected somehow. When I am patient and listen to what they are angry about and find a solution, they leave happy and feel like they were listened to."
