The interviewer asks this question to see if you meet the company's requirements for the internship position. You must be a pharmacy student at an AACP accredited college or school of pharmacy and supply your year of graduation. This information is on the company website after clicking on the internship application.
Even though the interviewer has your educational information on your application and resume, they want to hear from you about where you received your pharmacy education. Focus on answering briefly with the school and graduation year.
Avoid not having the required schooling for the position. Suppose you apply for the internship before being accepted into or actively enrolled in an AACP accredited college or school of pharmacy. In that case, you will be passed over and have to restart the application process once you meet their requirements.
"I am currently enrolled in Texas A& M's College of Pharmacy Program, working towards my bachelor's degree. I have one year left until graduation."
