Through experience as an Airman, I have vast experience with wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, knowledge of aircraft systems such as avionics, hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as aircraft components like engines, landing gear, and transmissions. I also can read, understand, and interpret technical information, and I have aircraft maintenance and fleet experience and A&P Certifications. I demonstrated a keen ability to learn as both an Airman and a paper convertor Production and Quality Manager who started with no knowledge of the paper industry. I have no doubt I will learn what I need to quickly and be a strong addition to the Boeing team.

Prior to my current position, I was a retail pharmacist for a couple of years. A major part of my job was reviewing medication orders and identifying medication problems and resolving them. Also, accurately dispensing and compounding medication, as ordered by physicians. Since I worked at one of the busiest pharmacies in the city, I had an experience with supervising five technicians at any given time.
In my current position as a medication therapy management pharmacist, I am able to provide counseling for each patient. This gives me the opportunity to help each patient improve the way they manage their health conditions, and completing each review helps me identify and resolve any therapy-related problems.
Completing comprehensive medication reviews with medical staff, especially nurses for patients who reside in long-term care facilities, has given me the opportunity to provide the medical staff with drug information and education when needed.
I often communicate and discuss clinical recommendations or interventions with prescribers, especially when discrepancies are identified in the patient's therapy, and I also complete plenty of Targeted Intervention Programs (or as known as TIPs), so I have the ability and the experience to consult physicians, interpret clinical guidelines criteria for them, and advise them of suitable formulary alternatives when needed.
Although transitioning from an outpatient to an inpatient setting can have a bit of a knowledge gap, I am very excited and quick to learn new things. I'm good at using resources and figuring things out on my own, and I will do whatever it takes to fill that knowledge gap as quickly as possible, even if that means working on my clinical knowledge during my personal time, when I am off work.
With that being said I believe that I possess all the skills needed to not only meet but exceed the expectations for this position.

Rachelle's Feedback
You do an excellent job qualifying yourself for the role. You are diligent and seem to be deeply dedicated to your career as well as professional development. These are great details provided in your response!
