How to Answer: Why should we hire you?
Advice and answer examples written specifically for a Program Manager job interview.
33. Why should we hire you?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Interviewers ask this question primarily because it is difficult to answer and helps them identify candidates who do well under pressure. For a program manager, the intent goes further. This question is a direct test of your ability to market yourself - a skill that speaks directly to your ability to communicate effectively with the executives, clients, vendors, or peers you will likely work with as a program manager.
