"One time at X Consultancy, we were reviewing options for a project management tool. The tool we were using at the time was very affordable, but it had limited capabilities. The functionalities that it lacked not only slowed our teams down it also made it hard to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.
So, I did my research and found two better options. I pitched both and supported my proposal with testimonials from users, which highlighted how the tool helped increase the company's return-on-investment. I also ran it by the production team, and they were very excited about two capabilities in particular. The first one had the ability to create messaging threads under tasks. This helped streamline feedback. The second feature was proofing directly through the tool. It allowed the creator to upload images and add markups directly on the images. It would help the team reduce the back-and-forth through other channels like email or Slack when going over edit notes. In the end, management picked the tool that had both features."
