Interviewers will often try to figure out which aspects of the job will be the toughest for you to master. It's important to demonstrate you can manage almost anything that comes your way. Redefine the word 'difficult' and use challenging instead and provide an example of a challenging aspect of the job and how you successfully performed these duties in a previous position. Always review the job posting before the interview and provide an example of a difficult task on the job posting, and how you've dealt with this is in the past.

"I take every new task or responsibility of my job as a challenge and then try to give my best to come up with the right solution to each situation. I take time to think creatively about options, and typically aim for a win-win solution. As a lead landscape architect and project manager on a past project, I found it difficult to motivate my team during a recession. I think that every manager finds it challenging to motivate team members when times are challenging, but that's probably the strongest test of a leader. I feel this is one area where I excel. When I see the first sign that the quality of the work is slipping, or that teamwork motivation is lagging because of a downturn in the economy, I put a plan into action immediately... (followed by a description of each step in the process, and the results you achieved.)"
