"In my last position, I was responsible for managing a small team of interns and entry-level designers. One of the young designers did not follow the instructions related to the project we were working on. He seemed dissatisfied with the assignments he was given and was not meeting our internal deadlines. I met with him privately to discuss the situation and to understand why he had not followed the instructions. I then reaffirmed the expectations and duties he had to perform - emphasizing that each of us played an important role and had tasks to perform to ensure the project's success and to meet our client's expectations."
