They want to make sure that you'll fit into their organization. Check out the company's website, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube before the interview to try to get clues about their general management style. Show that you can adapt to their management style and avoid using words like 'always' and 'never' when describing your ideal boss, supervisor, or manager.
"My ideal boss would be knowledgeable, patient and reliable- someone who still considers themselves a part of the team. Though I have separate duties as a project manager, I always try to jump in and help out on projects when I can. I think it improves the manager-employee dynamic when workers know that you truly care about them and are willing to step in and lend a hand."
