Question 3 of 30

How would you go about establishing your credibility quickly with the team?

"I've always been told that trust is not given but earned. One of the best ways, at least from my personal experience, to gain credibility at a firm is to earn it. Just because I have a solid resume, doesn't mean I am entitled to be viewed as a credible individual. I need to earn it - that includes employing empathy, encouragement, and transparency to establish solid foundations with my new colleagues."

      2nd Answer Example

"When I graduated from university and earned my master's degree, I thought as soon as I entered the labor market that I would be treated as an authoritative source for different things. But I was fairly proven wrong. Since then, I've been humbled, and I don't take my employment opportunities for granted. I know I have to earn others' trust. Over the years, I've progressed as both a professional and an individual, ensuring that everyone plays a valuable role in a workplace setting. This is how you gain credibility; enjoying camaraderie with your colleagues."
