It may be beneficial to the consulting company if you have good-standing relationships with their client base since this factor can simplify your onboarding. If you already have connections within the industry and their clients specifically, be transparent and provide the interviewer with some detail of these relationships. If you don't have existing client connections, indicate that you are diligent in building your network.
