For that reason, it's essential that you come to your interview with an expanded understanding of what they do and who their competitors are. One of their biggest competitors is Redfin, primarily due to their unique redefining of how the real estate agent approaches selling your home and earning their commissions. But listing Trulia or Hotpads would be a mistake, since both Trulia and Hotpads are ZillowGroup's other subsidiary companies. Show up prepared, and don't just rely on a google snippet for your intel! Zillow has a few competitors including Redfin, Realtor.com, Foreclosure.com, to name a few. These companies have strong specific areas, but Zillow is strong in all aspects.
Zillow takes the lead in all areas with the capacity to keep evolving with the sub companies it owns. Zillow is the top company and the first one that comes to mind when looking for a home.
