QUESTION 9 OF 30

We conduct early-stage criminal background checks and drug tests on all of our candidates. Is there anything you would like to disclose at this time?

The interviewer advises you of their pre-employment requirements and asks if you want to disclose anything, so they can decide if they're going to continue with you in the hiring process. If you have a criminal background or one that involves drug use, you must disclose it in the interview, as investigators will discover it in your background check or when you take your drug test.

As with any interview question, you want to focus on being completely honest in your response. As embarrassing as it may be, if you do not think you will pass the drug test or background check, you need to let the interviewer know that now. If passing the drug test will not be an issue and you do not have a criminal history, ensure the interviewer that you will pass both with ease.

If passing a drug test will be an issue for you, it is best to wait until you are clean to apply for a Walgreens Internship. Many companies require a pre-employment background investigation and drug test, so you must pass both to work in this profession.

"I do not have a criminal background or use drugs, so I have nothing to disclose. I will have no problem passing the background check and drug test."
