The purpose of this question is to evaluate your leadership abilities or hesitation to take charge. Some people are natural-born leaders, while others have yet to develop leadership skills. This question aims to assess where you fall on the scale. Take a moment to contemplate your leadership skills or potential. Then make it clear where you are at, and where you hope to go. Consider how your definition of leadership has been shaped by the leaders you admire. Doing so will help you with presenting the best version of yourself that you can be while demonstrating your potential. Take into consideration all aspects of what it means to be a leader, from leading by example, demonstrating excellent communication, empathy, all the way to delivering corrective feedback. This includes even the most difficult aspect of leadership, which, with experience, becomes easier with time.

"I have been told I have a lot of leadership potential, and any time we onboard a new employee, I'm asked to mentor them to get them oriented and up to speed. I frequently am tasked with training, stay informed, and others on my team are always coming to me for advice, inside knowledge, or help. I frequently set the pace and steer the morale."

Remember, their goal is to help clients differentiate between unqualified candidates and top performers when giving interview advice. As a result, they may give contradictory guidance by alternating between good and poor advice. For example, on one webpage, they recommend finding "a quiet and professional space to perform your interview. This is your time to showcase who you are and what you can add to an organization. Prepare, take a deep breath, and be yourself." But another webpage suggests, "If your dog barks or kid runs across the screen-relax. It's okay. Just relax. Your employer will understand, and if they don't, perhaps it's not the right culture fit for you. And that's okay."
