What EHR systems do you have experience with?
Nearly all healthcare systems use an EHR system today, and the Mayo Clinic has been reported to use Epic. Some other common EHR systems include Oracle Cerner, MEDITECH, and PointClickCare. Discuss the systems you are familiar with, your length of experience using them, how comfortable you feel using EHRs, and your experience training others as a bonus. If you lack experience, assure the interviewer that you're willing and able to learn!
"In my nursing program, we were taught the basics of EHR systems, and I have watched some videos online of the most common systems and the fundamentals of how they are used. During clinicals, I did a rotation at a children's hospital where they used PointClickCare, so I have exposure to that system. I'm a quick learner and eager to dive in and learn, so I have no doubt I can master whatever system Mayo Clinic uses."
