However, it can send a very different message if it doesn't seem necessary. When a person's working life and personal life aren't well balanced, the stresses of one can directly affect the other. This can also cast a shadow on one's time management skills. The goal here is to posture yourself as a desirable asset, with strong time management skills, emotional maturity, and a strong work/life balance. Talk to the interviewer about how frequently to take your work home.

"I make sure to utilize my work hours very efficiently so the only time that I take my work home is when there is an extremely stringent deadline. I would say that, overall, I take my work home maybe twice per month. It's all about being diligent with your time in the office!"
