How do you showcase innovation and creative thinking on the job?
Even if you're hired to be on the sales floor at Lululemon, they're looking for employees that are thinking a step ahead. Give an example of a time where you got creative to solve a problem or a solution on the fly. This will help hiring managers to see you have one of their core values in mind - entrepreneurship.
"In one of my previous roles, I saw that there was always a lag when it came to checking out customers, which would often create a line in the middle of the store that made it more difficult to shop. I suggested to my supervisor that we invest in a few handheld check-out devices to move customers through the process quickly without creating a line. The store owners thought it was a great idea and were willing to invest in the devices. It was a hit! And we didn't have any more lines going down the middle of the store."
