To learn and grow in any field, one must be willing to step outside of their comfort zone and risk failure in the pursuit of success. Lowes recognizes this as showing courage. "We address difficult issues and make tough decisions without fear or hesitation." Describe the last time you stepped outside of your comfort zone, what you learned from the experience, and how it furthered your success.

"The last time I stepped out of my comfort zone, I decided to pursue another job opportunity elsewhere. I have a lot of integrity, and I wanted to give my current employer more than ample notice. Knowing full well that I would need to train whoever would replace me on what I do at the office if I left with only two weeks' notice, they would likely struggle to keep up. So, even though this was outside my comfort zone, it was the right thing to do. They even offered me more money to stay onboard, and I considered it, but in all honesty, working in an office isn't the right fit for me."
