"Lowe's empowers our associates to pursue education opportunities. Part of that employee development is education off the job. Outside of Lowe's doors and in partnership with Guild Education, Lowe's Track to the Trades program provides tuition reimbursement to Lowe's associates that complete an apprentice certification in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or appliance repair."

"I earned a bachelor's degree in literature and theology. But I've worked in retail since high school. I always liked working with a varied workforce where you find that you aren't always working side by side with the same faces all the time. I also learned how to be more effective at time management and project management at work. I've been thinking of going back to school for business management and might do so in the coming months. But I would, of course, make certain it didn't conflict with any scheduling commitments I've made to my next job."
