When talking about why Intuit stands out to you, compared to its competitors, be as specific as possible and show enthusiasm for the work environment the company has created. The average HireVue interview takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. This one-way video interview typically includes 3-5 questions. Depending on the HireVue parameters set by Intuit, the asynchronous interview platform will generally give you 30 seconds to prepare a response and up to 2 minutes to answer each question. It's important to note that HireVue stops recording as soon as your time limit is up, so it's better to run under time than overtime.

"While preparing for this interview, I learned that one of Intuit's missions is to support its local communities in meaningful ways. I appreciate that Intuit includes 'We Care and Give Back' as one of its core values - stating that your team members are stewards of the future, they strengthen the communities around them, and they strive to give everyone the opportunity to prosper. When it comes to investing in the future of our communities, I was thrilled to read about Intuit's employee volunteer program. It's incredible that Intuit employees volunteered more than 43,000 hours last year and donated, with Intuit's matching, 4.7 million, throughout 19 sites globally. These missions and values are just one of many factors that set Intuit apart from its competitors, and why I am eager to join this renowned organization that places such a major focus on giving back to others."
Anonymous Answer
I noted Intuit allows full-time employees 32 hours a year for hands-on volunteer work during working hours. There are so many areas needing volunteer help, but working full-time may not allow for this time. Volunteering can be one of the best ways to feel good while helping others.

Jaymie's Feedback
The interviewer wants to see if you've taken the time to research the company and learn more about what they do and what they stand for. Your example shows that you've done your research and that volunteering is an area of importance for you. If you've read any other unique information about the leadership team, their mission, what they value, the products and services they offer, the customer base they serve, and awards or achievements they have earned, feel free to mention those in your response as well!
