"I am a great problem solver because I do not allow stress to cloud my judgment and mute my creative side. I can calmly detach from the situation and take a step back. I can recall a wide range of experiences and apply concepts that match the scenario.
I am also great at finding experts and enticing them to help. I observe others to identify their strengths and reach out to them informally for advice or help that can assist my team. An offer to buy a colleague a meal and brainstorm has helped tremendously several times throughout my career."

"I believe I am a great problem solver because I gather as many facts as possible, I look at the problem and its potential solutions from multiple angles, and I am not afraid to make a creative decision that might seem off the beaten path.
I am also an excellent facilitator. I recognize that I might not always have the right solution, but I am good at bringing together the right mix of people and creating a comfortable environment to brainstorm the best possible solution."

I could not measure the MR above 11T, and the data was quite noisy. I was leading the project and had to take all responsibility to fix it. I decided to analyze the data from the past to that day. I pulled the data from the PPMS log file and analyzed the data trend of field vs. time and unusual current supply compared to the past data. I informed to advise and other team members providing possible causes might be high voltage supply or exceptional localized heating of some component of the power supply kit. So took advice from the adviser and talked to the engineer of quantum design. He did the same troubleshooting and suggested replacing this obsolete PS with a new one. So I will use my analytical skill and experiences to solve the unique problem quantitatively.
