"One challenge I face as a leader is avoiding frustration when employees show continued disinterest in our company's education opportunities. My current company has an amazing program for continued education, yet only about 32% of our employees take advantage. To alleviate this frustration, I started a company-wide recognition program for all employees who explore this option with our company. Our rates have gone up to 57% since I implemented the change last year."

"The most difficult part of leading my current team is maintaining a positive mentality throughout the group. We have a couple of individuals who try to drag down the team's morale. It's always hard to combat that, but I do my best by reinforcing positive behaviors.

I also try to make space for negative feedback when necessary. I started holding regular reflection meetings where everyone has an opportunity to vent. I have noticed less unhealthy team discussion since we started holding those meetings."
