Intel Corporation uses some well-known software programs. Which automation software solutions are you accustomed to using?
There are many automation software solution options. Some are for the masses, and other organizations may have proprietary software.
When asked about your exposure to these programs, remember that most of them function similarly because the desired outcome is always similar. If you know one, you should understand another more easily.
"You mention in your job posting that you are looking for someone with experience in Software ABC. I have worked with Software XYZ, which is very similar. The functions are essentially the same, and since I am an expert level user in XYZ, I am confident that I will quickly learn ABC and your other internal programs."
"I am most accustomed to using Applied Materials automation software. Primarily, its function is to coordinate processes and people to optimize our resources. I am a fast learner and confident that I will learn your internal solutions quickly."
Remember to assure the interviewer that you will be able to learn the systems used at Intel quickly. Research any technology solutions mentioned in the job description that you are not familiar with before your interview.
Community answers are written by other candidates practicing this set. Reading how others frame the same question is one of the fastest ways to sharpen your own.

I am not familiar with the automation software now. As I am a fast learner, familiar with many programming languages and software that I used in many projects, I am confident that I will learn your internal solution quickly.

Good job! While you don't have any automation software experience, you have shared that you are willing to learn quickly. Consider expanding your answer to talk about additional software, programming languages, or skills you have that can help you overcome a lack of experience with automation software.
